Throughout the year we are open for guests to book individual tables or join special events, as well as being able to book the room for exclusive use. We enjoy servicing seasonal tasting menus using the very best produce.
Our intimate dining room that is available for private hire can comfortably hold up to 20 people. So if you are looking for a unique and exclusive venue for a special event, then the room is ideal. This could be for a business meeting, a group lunch, demonstration, or for exclusive fine dining for a special occasion.
Tables are available to book just like you would do at other restaurants. These are normally available for dinner bookings – but occasionally for lunch also. See below for dates & times when we are open.
Each month we host a couple of special events where individuals and small groups can join with other diners for events such as our ‘Wine Dinner’ or ‘Chef’s Table Experimental nights’ – see below for dates, as well as our sister company Forage Cookery School for Foodie Courses.

” What a find! We happened upon the Forage Kitchen by chance when wandering around Blackthorpe Barns. Tucked away and easy to miss, the dining experience of the six course lunchtime menu was superb. Delicious combinations of flavours, great service, and perfect environment made for one of my most enjoyable dining experiences. Great value for money. I’m reluctant to recommend this place in case it gets too popular for me to get a return reservation. We will definitely be back, if they can fit us in! “
